Red Flags

One of the last things you want to have to deal with in the middle of the night is a plumbing problem. If you have a plumbing emergency, at any time of the day, you can call JMAC Plumbing and Air Conditioning. Hopefully, however, you can identify clogged drains early on, and head off any emergencies. Not all clogged drains show themselves in obvious, in –your-face ways. So, the first step in early identification of clogged drains is knowing what to look for. Here is a list of some of the typical red flags of a clogged drain:

-Water backing up out of the sink drain.

-Water pooling around a shower drain, and then gradually draining.

-Toilet bowl water bubbles when you run the sink.

-Slow draining from the bathtub, sink or any other fixture.

-Gurgling sounds from drains, especially after running the washing machine or dishwasher

-A mysterious puddle of water near a bathtub, sink or toilet.

Knowing what to look for is important. If you notice any of these things at your home or business, or have any other concerns about your plumbing, call JMAC Plumbing and Air Conditioning and nip the problem in the bud.
